This is by far the most challenging assignment! It took me so long to figure out how to do the basic steps and adding additional elements. The beginner tutorials were somewhat helpful, but then I started to watch some Youtube tutorials which went more in depth. The Youtube videos helped a lot more. I decided to use the Scratch website because it did not look as complex as the other websites. Initially, I wanted to use the Sploder website; however, the website was not secure and my laptop was blocking the access. I really wanted to use the Sploder website because it looked like it was the easiest to make a simple game.
For my game I decided to make a basketball game! I tried to watch a Youtube tutorial and was still kind of confused, but I pushed through it. I changed up a few things and the movement of the ball is kind of off, but I tried my best. I tried to make the mouse control the speed by how close and how far away the mouse is from the ball. The player has to try to get the ball in the hoop (touching the rims) to win points!
I had difficulty trying to save the game to my laptop and the link did not even show the completed game. So, here some screenshots of the process!
